This past weekend was a H-O-T one! All we could think about was the crisp October breeze that filled the air at The Cliffs at Glassy Clubhouse two years ago. Their ballroom is filled with wall-to-wall windows that allows stunning nature light, the covered back patio offers a breathtaking view all throughout year and a large beautiful stone fireplace that is perfect for winter events. The Cliffs at Glassy Clubhouse is hands down a venue with endless possibilities. 

Amy and Tom chose to accent the clubhouse with beautiful uplighting which really made the room pop after the sun went down. Their reception was so clean with gorgeous fresh florals and crisp ivory linens. 

While meeting with Amy and Tom, we knew the love they shared for one another was like no other. It was so pure and kind. All throughout the evening Tom and Amy laughed, danced and surrounded themselves with love and happiness from their guests. Tom and Amy, it was a pleasure working with you and celebrating with your friends and loved ones. Cheers to many years of love and happiness.

For the love of cheese balls! The energy, the overflowing amount of love, the dance moves… everything about this wedding was 100% one for the books. When we met with Marie and Cameron, we instantly knew we’d have fun with this wedding. The ceremony and reception were held at one of our favorite venues in Downtown Greenville, Larkin’s, The L. Everything about this venue was perfect for their early November wedding. 

While getting ready, Cameron and Marie decided they wanted to do a first look to ensure there would be plenty of time to be on the dance floor. They both share a love for this precious pup, Kinkade, so they had to feature him in a few pictures as well. Kinkade sported served looks just like his moms. 

As the ceremony began, you could feel the love that filled the room. While reciting their vows to one another, both Cameron and Marie had a smile that beamed from ear to ear. They were truly made for each other and this was the happiest day of their lives. 

After dinner, Cameron had a full wardrobe change and Marie strapped on her dancing boots and her fedora and was ready to P-A-R-T-Y! We knew these girls shared a love for music and dancing but had no idea their guests did as well. Everywhere we looked Cameron and Marie’s guests were laughing, singing and dancing the night away. 

Marie and Cameron it was truly an honor being part of your day! We wish you many years of love and happiness.

Growing up the Cox’s and the Shirley’s were close friends. They once began as preschool pals at the age of 3 and have been inseparable ever since. Anna and Harrison’s energy levels were like no other. We fell in love with these two the very first planning meeting and instantly knew their wedding day would be a blast. 

From the moment we started bridal party introductions, we knew this group was going to be full of excitement, energy and great dance moves. Harrison and his brothers never left the dance floor and sang every word to every song we played.  

Everything about this reception read classic Uptown Entertainment style. We had beautiful uplighting throughout the entire venue that really added a classy touch. Halfway through the reception, Anna asked if we could pull out the Cyro Cannon and it was just what the group needed to keep the party going. Although it was wet day, Anna and Harrison didn’t let it rain on their parade (see what we did there?!).  

They say when it rains on your wedding day it is a sign of good luck. These two were definitely surrounded by more than luck that day as they were able to share such a wonderful blessing with their friends and loved ones. Earlier this week they celebrated their first wedding anniversary. Anna and Harrison, thank you for allowing us to be part of your special day. We wish you many, many years of love and happiness.

Bleckley Inn Wedding DJ | Anderson, SC | Carole Cochran & Christopher

Tucked in the heart of downtown Anderson, South Carolina, the Bleckley Inn is a beautiful little boutique hotel that quickly became the ideal location for a late May wedding. There were so many things to be celebrated on that holiday weekend; Memorial Day, the rain (finally!) and having impeccable weather just long enough for these Phillips Family and Howard Family come together as one. 

From the moment she made her way down the aisle to her groom, we instantly had butterflies in our stomachs. It was like Christmas morning all over again. Something that was once part of daily lives that we had taken so for granted had become a true treasure to witness. Carole Cochran and Christopher weathered such a crazy and uncertain time like champs, and definitely inspired us to do the same. It was our first Saturday back in the game in over 8 weeks, and boy did it feel GREAT to be behind the turn table again! From the ceremony to the sendoff, we were in full wedding swing and loving every second of it. 

Before we knew it, the vows had been exchanged and we were introducing them as Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Howard to their family and friends that had come from near and far. Fresh florals and peaches filled the reception hall and gave it that perfect “Southern Wedding” feel. As their guests made their way outside to the tented courtyard the party began. Midway through the reception, Christopher and his Groomsmen had a wardrobe change into American flag tuxedo shirts. As Christopher spun has beautiful new bride around on the dance floor, we all knew what everyone was thinking, “‘Merica!”, and what could be more Southern than that?! Carole Cochran and Christopher continue to dance the night away as they were surrounded by their loved ones.

Fa la la la FALL! After this rainy holiday weekend, we could not help but reminisce on this gorgeous wedding from last November. From the strikingly rich accent colors to beautiful breezy weather, there could not have been a more perfect day for a Fall rooftop wedding in Downtown Greenville. 

When we first met Joe and Danielle we instantly knew they shared a love for partying just as much as we do. And after seeing their wedding playlist it confirmed that this was indeed going to be one heck of a party! As we got everyone lined up for bridal party introductions, Joe made a quick change into his dancing shoes, and it was game time. Watching Joe spin Danielle around the dance floor during their first dance was undeniably magical. The love that the share for one another is truly something unique. 

After dinner the party really cranked up, and throughout the evening the energy level was nothing less than 100% among the entire room (just the way we like it!). Good music, awesome uplighting and a packed dance floor made for an epic reception. Joe and Danielle were surrounded by family, friends and a whole lot of love that night.

Bleckley Station Wedding DJ | Anderson, SC | Paiten & Richmond

In a high school engineering class sat two young kids who barely knew each other’s last name. As years passed and friendships grew, so did their fondness for one another, and on January 6th, 2012 Richmond asked Paiten to be his girlfriend. Fast forward nine years later, he could not believe that after knowing someone as generous as Paiten for 10+ years they would become husband and wife in just a few short hours. As Paiten made her way gracefully down the aisle he could barely take his eyes off her. Not only was it hot outside on that late June afternoon, but sparks were flying inside from the moment Paiten and Richmond said “I Do”. 

 Richmond and his groomsmen looked dapper in their black tuxedos, while Paiten and her bridesmaids looked flawless in their beautiful long black dresses. The reception tables were filled with stunning gold frame centerpieces that were handmade by Richmond which elevated the elegant florals. Paiten and Richmond had always shared a love for an old school polaroid and wanted to spread that love with their guests as they invited them to add polaroids to their guestbook.

 While meeting with Paiten and Richmond during planning, they stressed to us the importance of having a huge party for their reception, and that’s definitely what they got. Their guests showed up and showed out! From shagging to dropping it low, they never missed a beat. In the midst of the fun, we brought out the Cyro Cannon and Paiten blew her guests away (literally). 

 Looking back on this divine June day we are reminded of simpler times and that love is truly all you need. Paiten and Richmond, it was an honor to be part of your beautiful day. From the ceremony to the sparkler exit, it was nothing less than magnificent. We wish you many years of love and happiness!

It is hard to grasp just how much the wedding industry has transformed in such a short period of time. With so many celebration plans being altered, we knew Dan and Courtney’s March wedding would be one of the year’s first and last we would have the privilege to DJ for quite some time; and boy did they give us one to remember! 

Could there have been a more picturesque day for such a beautiful celebration? From the incredible mountain top ceremony backdrop, to all the fresh Spring florals that filled the reception area, Dan and Courtney’s wedding day was best described as a “Secret Garden”, and is one that gave us all the Spring feels. 

The beauty can be found within the small details, and Courtney, and her incredible team of vendors, made all the small details matter. Maybe it was the branded dinner rolls, or the tiny suit made for their precious pup, regardless of where we looked, we were continuously being blown away with all the elements. The evening was filled with dancing and love as their guests surrounded them on the dance floor. Dan and Courtney definitely had the All-Star vendor team. Many thanks to everyone that had a hand in their special day!

We are monitoring the news and all updates very closely as they come up and taking the necessary measures to keep our team and our clients safe. I can assure you that we are on your team, and will do everything we can do make sure you feel taken care of!   

Currently we are working with our couples and clients who have events in the next 30 days to postpone their weddings and events. If and when further government mandated actions come into play, we’ll definitely look at other dates for postponement.

Greenville, SC Wedding DJ | Larkin's Wyche Pavilion | Amy and AC

As you may know already, it has been raining a whole lot here in Greenville, SC lately. As spring had begun, Amy and AC's wedding day was complete with its fair share of the wet stuff. However, the rain didn't stop an epic wedding celebration. Their family and friends were so great and we had the best time DJ'ing and celebrating their wedding day. We provided DJ services and our traditional style Photo Booth, complete with NYC themed props. As you'll see, the NYC theme was carried all throughout their wedding reception. 

Amy is from Greenville and AC is from San Francisco. They met in New York City in the spring while living only 10 blocks apart. AC is a Dermatologist and Amy works in finance by day and teaches Zumba classes after work. Before they met, she would always walk right past his apartment as she taught at the gym on his block, but they never knew each other. They finally found each other and when it was time for their wedding, decided to come back down south, but they just had to include touches of their now "home" and it was perfect!

We had a great group of wedding pros that helped make Amy and AC's wedding day so amazing. Special thanks to everyone!

We are so excited to share Megan and Ben's magical wedding day. We were so honored they chose us to be their wedding DJ for their wedding celebration right here in Greenville, SC. They also chose to hold their big day at one of our favorite wedding venues, The Old Cigar Warehouse on Main Street. The wedding team was then made even more awesome with the addition of one of our favorite wedding planners, Kelley with Clink! Events. To put the cherry on top, they chose our good friend Jenny Williams to be their wedding photographer. We have worked with Jenny a solid handful of times over the last couple of year and we absolutely LOVE her wedding pictures! As the saying goes, "Team work makes the dream work", and their awesome wedding was a pleasure to DJ.
