Every time we step on the property at Chestnut Ridge we instantly feel like we have stepped into a wedding magazine. The venue, the décor, the couple; just everything about this stunning place makes our job that much better! Early this summer we had the pleasure of being at Chestnut Ridge for Joanah and Andrew’s celebration and it was just truly magical. 

The day was absolutely perfect that day and we could not have asked for better weather while celebrating this amazing couple! Joanah and Andrew’s ceremony was sweet and simple, just like their love. While meeting with Joanah and Andrew earlier in the planning process, they both said they could not wait to dance and have party with their friends and loved ones. They had waited so long to do so, and that night was going to be filled with three things: good food, great memories and a whole lot of interesting dance moves. And let us be the first to say, the hit all three things perfectly! 

Andrew and Joanah, thank you for allowing Uptown Entertainment to be part of your special day! You guys have a beautiful future ahead of you and we know it will be filled with lots of love! Cheers!

Westin Poinsett Hotel Wedding DJ | Greenville, SC | Madison and Haden

Haden and Madison’s beautiful winter wonderful celebration was one of the last of the year, and it was absolutely magical. On December 19th three years prior to that day, Haden had asked Madison to be his girlfriend. They felt it was only appropriate to keep that date close to their hearts by tying the knot on that exact day. Not only was this the dating anniversary but it was also Madison’s parents wedding anniversary. This day was filled with so much love and joy and we were thrilled to be a part of it. 

Haden and Madison chose to get married at one of Greenville’s favorite wedding destinations, The Westin Poinsett Hotel. To see this venue through the year is one thing, but to see it at Christmas time is a whole other! They take decking the halls to the extreme are we are here for it each and every year. Not only did Haden and Madison have beautiful Christmas trees lit with holiday lights, the gorgeous uplighting helped accent the room perfectly.

Revel Event Center Wedding DJ | Greenville, SC | Brittney and Zachary

Zack quickly became the knight in shining armor the first night he met Brittney in a bar in Atlanta. Brittney was making small talk with someone while also sending Zack, a complete stranger at the time, the SOS signal to come save her. Luckily, for both of them he did and the rest was history. 

Brittney and Zack chose to have their wedding ceremony out at Patriots Point in Charleston, South Carolina while surrounded with a small group of family and close friends. After the ceremony, everyone then drove to Greenville, South Carolina for their wedding reception which was held at Revel Event Center.  

There guests were pumped full of energy as soon as Brittney and Zack began their first dance and the Indoor Spark Fountains went off. Everyone ate, drank and celebrated the beautiful couple being married, and of course enjoyed the dance floor. Their guests loved every minute of the playlist Adam was spinning out. Brittney and Zack, thank you for allowing Uptown Entertainment to be part of such a special day to celebrate you two! We wish you many years of love and happiness!

Junto Coffee Wedding DJ | Taylors, SC | Hallie & Jacob

Hallie and Nick approached us about their wedding after we all had the pleasure of working together on another client’s wedding. We are always honored when another wedding professional asks us to be part of their wedding day or special event, and could not wait to watch these two to tie the knot. Hallie and Nick and are a couple that love fiercely and have the best time literally ALL the time. We knew their wedding day was going to be nothing short of epic and full of energy. 

Hallie and Nick chose Junto Coffee for the wedding ceremony and reception venue and it was the perfect fit. Just across from Southern Bleachery located in Taylors Mill, and it was definitely not your typically wedding venue but we loved it! It was a nice breath of fresh air and gave the chance to see what else Taylors Mill has to offer. 

Like we said, Hallie and Nick are full of energy and they showed up and showed out at the reception. Once minute Hallie was doing the worm in her wedding dress, the next minute Nick was having too fun with the cryo cannon. Then we turn around and Nick and Hallie are being lifted in the air by their guests on the dance floor. It was literally never a dull moment and we wish we could relive that reception party over again each week.

Edinburgh West Wedding DJ | Taylors, SC | Julia and Josh

Julia and Josh met almost 7 years ago while tailgating at a Florida Georgia Line concert with mutual friends; and when we met them, we knew instantly they would be a fun couple to party with. Even through the COVID chaos, they had so much energy and excitement about starting their lives together as husband and wife. Although Julia and Josh had to reschedule their wedding from earlier that year, their new date, December 31st, 2021, was ultimately the best decision they could have ever made.

Josh and Julia chose one of Greenville County’s most unique wedding venues, Edinburgh West. This stunning all glass English conservatory sits on a 16-acre estate in Taylors, South Carolina just minutes away from Downtown Greenville. Edinburgh West is an all-inclusive venue that offers everything from catering to florals for their couples. 

Their guests we full of energy just like Julia and Josh from the moment they entered the reception. They filled their evening dancing, the mirror photo booth and celebrating not only the happy couple but the new year as well.

Old Cigar Warehouse Wedding DJ | Greenville, SC | Sheridan & Sara

These two sports fans Sara and Sheridan both have hearts of gold and we were PUMPED when they asked to be part of their special day. We’ve had the pleasure of working with Sheridan over the years with My Wedding Group, but when we met Sara, we instantly know these two were perfect for each other. 

Sara and Sheridan chose Old Cigar Warehouse for their wedding ceremony and reception. Check out some of our previous blog posts to learn more about the historical Old Cigar Warehouse event venue. 

The venue was detailed with vibrant colors that accented the exposed brick perfectly. As the Best Brothers made their way down the alter followed by the rest of the bridal party, we kept eyeing the Flower Guy and we knew we would be in for a real treat. He took his role seriously and we must say, we have never seen anything like it. It was truly a sight that had everyone giggling, and just what Sara and Sheridan needed to shake the nerves. 

Once the party began, it truly never stopped. Sara and Sheridan were surrounded by family, friends, former teammates and a whole lot of love. Sara and Sheridan both stayed on the dance floor, and gave us the best moves all night. Sara really got the crowd really going when she did the worm! 

Of all the parties in 2020, theirs was definitely one of our favorites! Sara and Sheridan, watching you two become The Dooley’s was truly magical. Thank you for allowing Uptown Entertainment to be part of such a special day. We wish you many years of love and happiness. Natalie and John Paul came to us ready to party from the get go and we just knew it they would be the perfect fit. These two were both full of energy and eager to get married and celebrate their union with the ones they love the most. And after meeting with them, we could not hardly wait either!

Natalie and John Paul chose to get married at Furman’s Daniel Chapel with their reception being held at the Westin Poinsett Hotel in Downtown Greenville, South Carolina. From beautifully hung draping that was accented with uplighting, to fresh florals that covered the room from end to end, Natalie and John Paul’s reception was a true late summer dream. Their guests came to celebrate and party and they did just that. We could not have asked for a better group to celebrate and we wish we could do all over again!

The Reserve at Lake Keowee Wedding DJ | Sunset, SC | Alexis & John

Mutual friends of Alexis and John just knew they would be the perfect match for one another, and after some convincing these two became absolutely inseparable. And after meeting the two of them, we could not have agreed more! From the start of their ceremony, the love we felt in the room from Alexis and John, as well as their guests, was so pure. 

Alexis and John chose a venue that can certainly be considered one of the South Carolina’s hidden gems located in the hills of Sunset. From the beautiful view seen from the back porch to the full-service staff, The Reserve at Lake Keowee Clubhouse has all the wedding amenities an engaged couple could ask for.  

Their dance floor was packed all night and the moves definitely did not disappoint. Alexis and John, thank you for allowing us to get to know you and be part of such an amazing day as you two joined together to become one. We wish you a long life of love and happiness!

Rebekah and Josh had a November wedding that was one for the books. The beautiful blues tones filled the ceremony and reception venue and added the perfect touch to this southern wedding. They chose to have their ceremony and reception at Larkin’s, The L, one of Larkin’s event venues downtown. This has to be one of our favorite Larkin’s venues because of the endless options this venue has to offer. 

They had guests travel from near and far to celebrate as they joined to together to become husband and wife. Rebekah and Josh had a reception party that never seemed to end, and we did not mind at all. They danced, laughed and made memories that will last them a lifetime. Rebekah and Josh, thank you for allowing us to be part of such a fun night celebrating your love for each other.

Westfield Greenville Wedding DJ | Greenville, SC | Brooke and Caleb

These two love birds have had heart eyes for each other since 2012, and come rain, shine or COVID-19, Brooke and Caleb would see to it that their wedding would take place on June 6th, 2020. These two had dreamed of getting married on that specific day and nothing was going to stop them. Luckily for them, and us, they got married, and we got to be part of one epic party. 

Brooke and Caleb chose to exchange their vows at one of Greenville’s newest venues, Westfield Greenville. This beautiful event and wedding venue is located in the heart of downtown Greenville, South Carolina, and is a blank canvas that can complement any design style. 

It was truly magical watching Brooke and Caleb twirl around the dance floor during their first dance, and it is clear to everyone they cross paths with that they are truly in love. After finishing up dinner, Brooke was ready to get on the dance and boogie with all her friends and family. To Brooke and Caleb, thank you for allowing us to make all your wedding day dreams come true.
