Chestnut Ridge Wedding DJ | Asheville, NC | Joanah and Andrew

Every time we step on the property at Chestnut Ridge we instantly feel like we have stepped into a wedding magazine. The venue, the décor, the couple; just everything about this stunning place makes our job that much better! Early this summer we had the pleasure of being at Chestnut Ridge for Joanah and Andrew’s celebration and it was just truly magical.

The day was absolutely perfect that day and we could not have asked for better weather while celebrating this amazing couple! Joanah and Andrew’s ceremony was sweet and simple, just like their love. While meeting with Joanah and Andrew earlier in the planning process, they both said they could not wait to dance and have party with their friends and loved ones. They had waited so long to do so, and that night was going to be filled with three things: good food, great memories and a whole lot of interesting dance moves. And let us be the first to say, the hit all three things perfectly!

Andrew and Joanah, thank you for allowing Uptown Entertainment to be part of your special day! You guys have a beautiful future ahead of you and we know it will be filled with lots of love! Cheers!

Larkin's, L Wedding DJ | Greenville, SC | Madison and Christopher

When watching Madison and Christopher throughout the night of their reception all that came to mind was the song “How Sweet it is to be Loved by You”. They were kind and caring towards one another and it was such a fun experience getting to know them and learning all about their big wedding plans.

Madison and Christopher fell in love with one of Greenville’s most well-known venues, Larkin’s, The L. We are huge fans of this venue and all that is has to offer with the exposed brick, beautiful draping and stunning hardwood floors where Madison and Christopher had the best time dancing the night away with their family and friends.

Madison and Christopher, thank you for allowing Uptown Entertainment to be part of your special day! You two bring out the best in each other and we cannot wait to see where life takes the two of you. May your life together be filled with lots of love and laughter. Cheers!

School House Venue Wedding DJ | Travelers Rest, SC | Erin and Sean

Erin and Sean are the ultimate Boho couple! They just go with the flow and seem to have no worries, which we loved! When we asked how the met Erin gave us the best back story we had ever heard. They “met at Stomping Grounds Coffee Shop on October 8th, 2017. (Hence the name Ten Oh Eight). On that date, we found out that our siblings shared the exact same names, that our moms shared the same name, that we were insanely obsessed with world travel and lived in the same place at the same time in Australia, that we both played college basketball, that we drove the exact same white jeep and we shared a LOVE for coffee. Needless to say, we either needed to run far away from our crazy similarities or we were basically soulmates.”

Not only do Erin and Sean own Ten Oh Eight photography but they are also the owners of The School House Venue in Travelers Rest in South Carolina. Formerly the Locust Hill School, Erin had all her wedding details ironed out and just needed to find a venue. After falling in love with this beautiful, she knew that it meant to be and that her and Sean would own it one day. After several long nights and a lot of hard work, this beautiful venue was ready for their wedding.

We had the pleasure of working with Erin and Sean at another wedding that they photographed (Ten Oh Eight Photography), and when we heard they were engaged and getting married as well we just knew we had to DJ their wedding. From the sweet and simple ceremony, to the flash mob mom/son dance, this wedding was truly epic!

The Venue at Falls Park Wedding DJ | Greenville, SC | Meagan & Daniel

Four days before Meagan and Daniel were supposed to get married COVID created an extra hurdle they did not see coming. In those 4 days, they had their dream wedding decrease to a fifteen person maximum ceremony, and they would have to reschedule their reception for a later date. Although it was not what they had hoped for, they did not allow it to stand in their way.

Fast forward several weeks, they were finally able to have their dream reception with their family and friends. Everything about this day was perfect. Meagan and Daniel did not have the wedding day jitters, and were both ready to just celebrate. During the final planning meeting, Meagan told us that her and Daniel both were extremely excited to finally being able to have their party, and they wanted it to last all night! Meagan was most eager about the cryo cannon, and could not wait to use that.

Meagan and Daniel, thank you for being our very first event back after COVID. We could not have dreamed of a better couple to help us get back to our groove. Thank you for allowing us to party with you guys! Check out all of Meagan and Daniel’s amazing vendors at the bottom!

Westfield Wedding DJ | Greenville, SC | Caroline & Camden

We have watched this sweet couple over the years at various friends’ weddings and now it was finally there their time! Caroline and Camden are individuals that will both light up a room from the moment they enter with their beautiful smiles. The love they share is so kind and pure, and gave us much light throughout all the madness that surrounds us during this time.

Caroline and Camden chose one of the South Carolina’s newer venues in the Upstate, The Westfield Greenville. The space is truly a blank canvas and open to endless possibilities, not to mention the venue overlooks parts of the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

At the reception, their family and friends surrounded them with love and great dance moves. From shagging to dropping it low, they did it all. Gaspar Gomez, one of our DJ’s even got out there to show everyone a move or two of his own. The uplighting filled the space and created beautiful photo opportunities throughout the entire evening.

Camden and Caroline, it was truly a pleasure watching you both during your wedding day. Thank you for being such a fun-loving couple that was always ready to get down and party. Rocky River Plantation Wedding DJ | Anderson, SC | Madi & James

To say that James and Madi were faced with multiple obstacles during the last few months leading up to their wedding would be an understatement. COVID not only pushed back their wedding celebration from the original April date but also changed the venue a few times as well. Throughout all the changes Madi and James both continued to show us that love always prevails.

Madi and James chose to tie the knot at a beautiful estate in Anderson, South Carolina called Rocky River Plantation on the 4th of July. Rocky River Plantation was built in 1913, and has been handed down through several prominent families over the years. Once known as Valley View, this exquisite home now serves as an event venue where history, tradition and elegance are brought together.

Their tented reception was one for the books! Their guests came prepared to celebrate this special couple in every way imaginable. The dance floor was packed with dancing queens and shirtless groomsmen. Halfway through the evening, Madi and James snuck away for a firework photoshoot and trust us when we say the picture do not do it justice!

James and Madi, thank you for giving us something else to celebrate this year! We were truly honored to have been part of your special day.
