Old Cigar Warehouse Wedding DJ | Greenville, SC | Sheridan & Sara

These two sports fans Sara and Sheridan both have hearts of gold and we were PUMPED when they asked to be part of their special day. We’ve had the pleasure of working with Sheridan over the years with My Wedding Group, but when we met Sara, we instantly know these two were perfect for each other. 

Sara and Sheridan chose Old Cigar Warehouse for their wedding ceremony and reception. Check out some of our previous blog posts to learn more about the historical Old Cigar Warehouse event venue. 

The venue was detailed with vibrant colors that accented the exposed brick perfectly. As the Best Brothers made their way down the alter followed by the rest of the bridal party, we kept eyeing the Flower Guy and we knew we would be in for a real treat. He took his role seriously and we must say, we have never seen anything like it. It was truly a sight that had everyone giggling, and just what Sara and Sheridan needed to shake the nerves. 

Once the party began, it truly never stopped. Sara and Sheridan were surrounded by family, friends, former teammates and a whole lot of love. Sara and Sheridan both stayed on the dance floor, and gave us the best moves all night. Sara really got the crowd really going when she did the worm! 

Of all the parties in 2020, theirs was definitely one of our favorites! Sara and Sheridan, watching you two become The Dooley’s was truly magical. Thank you for allowing Uptown Entertainment to be part of such a special day. We wish you many years of love and happiness. Oh, and just in case you were wondering, we are totally down to do a 1-year anniversary party. Cheers!

Indigo Hall Wedding DJ | Spartanburg, SC | Ansley & Zach

Holy moly, it is crazy to think that this amazing couple have almost been married for a year at the end of the month. They say time flies when you are having fun and although 2020 has been full of interesting twists and turns, we know Ansley and Zach are definitely weathering the storm like champs. 

Ansley and Zach got married at Spartanburg First Baptist Church with their reception following at Indigo Hall. During the renovations it was no question that the building’s authenticity and original features were what makes this a true hidden gem set in Old-Time Spartanburg. Their guests came from all near and far to celebrate this wonderful couple and the love they share. The dance floor was packed all night and love was in the air on this crisp Fall night.  

Mr. and Mrs. Warren, thank you for allowing us to make your wedding day truly special and one to remember. The Rutherford Wedding DJ | Greenville, SC | Chelsey & James

While meeting with Chelsey and James we knew immediately they would be a couple we would fall in love with! They are both so kind to one another and both very eager about their big day. Chelsey knew exactly what she wanted, how it would love, the order of events and every detail, small or big, in between. 

Chelsey and James got married at one Greenville’s most unique venues, The Rutherford. The Rutherford was built in the 1950’s and still has the original floors, ceilings and brick walls. This venue has a beautiful courtyard that sets the backdrop for any ceremony, big or small. After wrapping up the ceremony, guests can move into the downstairs warehouse for an indoor cocktail, and shortly after have your guests move upstairs for the reception. 

James and Chelsey had a beautiful ceremony, followed by their reception where they surrounded with their family and friends throughout the entire evening. Everyone enjoyed the mirror photo booth as well. Mr. and Mrs. Holland, thank you for allowing us to be part of your special day with your loved ones. It was truly an honor, and we wish many years of love and happiness.

Old Cigar Warehouse Wedding DJ | Greenville, SC | Megan & Wyatt

We met this sweet couple a little over a year out from their wedding date. They both were so sweet to work with and full of love for one another. What started out as two best friends in college, ended up in one of the dreamiest weddings we had ever had. 

Megan and Wyatt chose one of the most well-known venues in Downtown Greenville, Old Cigar Warehouse. Built in 1882, the building was once used as a cigar and cotton warehouse. Over the years, it has transformed from a grocery store distribution center, a gospel choir music hall and even once was a rock-climbing gym. In 2013, the owner of Old Cigar Warehouse discovered this hidden gem that had been left unoccupied for nearly a decade. After a very detailed renovation process, the building is now one of the most iconic and historic landmarks in Greenville, South Carolina. 

Their wedding was simple and sweet just like the two of them. They chose to have a smaller wedding where they were surrounded with close family and friends but they do not be fooled because their reception was larger than life. Megan and Wyatt thank you for allowing us to be part of your special day. We wish you all the best and many years of happiness.

Lions Gate Manor Wedding DJ | Spartanburg, SC | Justin & Sarah

WOW! What a beautiful day. Sarah and Justin were one of the best couples we had in 2019. They were both full of life and ready to eat, drink and be married (and PARTY, of course!). Sarah and Justin chose one of Spartanburg’s very own secret garden for their late Spring wedding, the Lions Gate Manor. Established in 2015, Lions Gate Manor was once a English Country style home that was built in 1978. It’s perfectly settled Croft State Park and Foster’s Creek, the 7-acre property has hundreds of oak trees, a beautiful waterfall, creek and more. 

As their ceremony started, we knew this was going to be an emotional one. There was such love and happiness that surrounded Sarah and Justin, and there was not a dry eye in the house to prove it. One the reception began, it was a it was a party for the books! Sarah and Justin had all their favorite hits played and their guests were loving every minute of it. When they were not dropping it low on the dance floor, everyone was enjoying our Social Share Photo Booth. 

Sarah had a perfect vision of how she wanted their wedding day to be and he vendors team made it happen. Check out everyone that had a hand in making this beautiful vision transform into a real-life fairytale down at the bottom.

The Gassaway Mansion Wedding DJ | Greenville, SC | Jordan & David

Two young high school freshman classmates met when they were given assigned seated beside one another. They would instantly become best friends, and 10 years later we would be given the opportunity to celebrate as these two became one. When we met with Jordan and David we immediately knew they were the perfect “Uptown” pair. Jordan was full of energy and loved to dance while David just wanted to everyone to have a great time. 

Jordan and David chose to get married in one of the most historic homes in the Upstate, The Gassaway Mansion. The Gassaway Mansion was completed in 1924, and can be considered as the Gatsby of Greenville. Over the years, the mansion has served as school, a small museum and now serves as an event venue. 

They chose to tie the knot in November, and they could not have selected a more perfect day. She had the venue decked out in beautiful floral arrangements that suspended from the tent ceiling, and filled the tables with striking rich colors. The uplighting accented the tent creating the flawless background any picture. 

Jordan and David, thank you for allowing us to be part of such an amazing evening! We loved watching your family and friends surround the two of you with love and happiness as you begin the new journey of marriage.

Victoria and Moore | Wedding DJ & Photobooth | Cannon Centre | Greer, SC

We are so happy to feature Victoria and Moore's awesome wedding that we had the honor of DJ'ing. They chose the Cannon Centre in Greer, SC, which has a beautiful park and many places to capture great pictures. We provided DJ services, blush Uplighting Package, and our Photo Booth Experience for their wedding celebration. Victoria and Moore are some of the sweetest people we've ever met and we had the best time working with them!

About the Couple: Victoria recently graduated from the University of South Carolina and Moore graduated from Clemson University. They have been together for five years. They got engaged on December 22, 2015 when Victoria's family planned a visit to The Biltmore House. According to Victoria, "Moore was suppose to come but couldn't. My family told me to dress up really nice because we were going to take Christmas photos there (I should've known something was up because my family never takes Christmas photos). We walked up the path to where you can take pictures with the whole Biltmore House behind you. My family wanted to just take some photos of me and after fixing my hair I looked up and saw Moore. He pulled me off to the side and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, of course I said yes!!" What a sweet engagement story! From there, the rest is history.
