Heyward Manor and The Bleckley Station Wedding DJ | Anderson, SC | Nicole and Jerome

Two words: HOLY MOLY! If there were ever a dream wedding for a vendor to end the year with, it would be Nicole and Jerome’s fairytale Christmas wedding in Anderson, South Carolina. This couple pulled out all the stops and it was the most epic wedding of our career! 

Nicole and Jerome met well working at Wild Wings and their rock loving souls were destine to be together forever. When meeting with Nicole and Jerome they both said “we do not want the typical wedding reception. We want our reception to be like a rock concert!” Um, come again? Was this real life? Where all our reception DJ dreams coming true or were we just daydreaming? Little did we know, what we had in mind for a ‘rock concert reception’, Nicole and Jerome wanted bigger and better, and we loved every single minute of it! 

They chose to tie the knot at one of our favorite hidden gems in Anderson, Heyward Manor. This venue is the ultimate barn/rustic dreams! After tying the knot, they moved over to The Bleckley Station where it was decked out to the dang nines!! 

From the light up wristbands for guests to the choreographed first dance with their entire bridal party, Nicole and Jerome wanted their reception to be one to remember, and boy would it be one we would never forget! Nicole and Jerome, THANK YOU for allowing Uptown Entertainment to be part of such a magically epic day. We truly could not have imagined it any other way. Westin Poinsett Hotel Wedding DJ | Greenville, SC | Natalie and John Paul

Natalie and John Paul came to us ready to party from the get go and we just knew it they would be the perfect fit. These two were both full of energy and eager to get married and celebrate their union with the ones they love the most. And after meeting with them, we could not hardly wait either!

Natalie and John Paul chose to get married at Furman’s Daniel Chapel with their reception being held at the Westin Poinsett Hotel in Downtown Greenville, South Carolina. The Westin Poinsett Hotel is definitely hands down one of our favorite event venues that Greenville has to offer. To learn more about the history of the Westin Poinsett Hotel click here. 

From beautifully hung draping that was accented with uplighting, to fresh florals that covered the room from end to end, Natalie and John Paul’s reception was a true late summer dream. Their guests came to celebrate and party and they did just that. We could not have asked for a better group to celebrate and we wish we could do all over again!

Westfield Greenville Wedding DJ | Greenville, SC | Brooke and Caleb

These two love birds have had heart eyes for each other since 2012, and come rain, shine or COVID-19, Brooke and Caleb would see to it that their wedding would take place on June 6th, 2020. These two had dreamed of getting married on that specific day and nothing was going to stop them. Luckily for them, and us, they got married, and we got to be part of one epic party. 

Brooke and Caleb chose to exchange their vows at one of Greenville’s newest venues, Westfield Greenville. This beautiful event and wedding venue is located in the heart of downtown Greenville, South Carolina, and is a blank canvas that can complement any design style. 

It was truly magical watching Brooke and Caleb twirl around the dance floor during their first dance, and it is clear to everyone they cross paths with that they are truly in love. After finishing up dinner, Brooke was ready to get on the dance and boogie with all her friends and family. To Brooke and Caleb, thank you for allowing us to make all your wedding day dreams come true. The Ridge Wedding DJ | Asheville, NC | Kaitlin & Joe

It sure will be hard to top this breathtaking mountain top wedding. Kaitlin and Joe truly had a fairy tale wedding, and we were so honored to be part of such a special day. From the moment Kaitlin and Joe were introduced into the reception we could see that their guests traveled from all over to shower them with the love. 

Joe and Kaitlin chose a venue that was coming new to us, The Ridge, in Asheville, and we were pumped to see what this new place was all about. Let me tell you, IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Holy moly, those views. I mean, we’d never seen anything like it. 

The dance floor stayed packed until the very end, and when the guests were not on the dance floor, they were smiling big for the camera, Mirror Photo Booth camera that is. After all the guests had exited for sparklers, the couple shared one last private dance with each other before exiting. Kaitlin and Joe thank you for allowing us to be part of your special day. Hotel Domestique Wedding DJ | Travelers Rest, SC | Dan & Courtney

It is hard to grasp just how much the wedding industry has transformed in such a short period of time. With so many celebration plans being altered, we knew Dan and Courtney’s March wedding would be one of the year’s first and last we would have the privilege to DJ for quite some time; and boy did they give us one to remember! 

Could there have been a more picturesque day for such a beautiful celebration? From the incredible mountain top ceremony backdrop, to all the fresh Spring florals that filled the reception area, Dan and Courtney’s wedding day was best described as a “Secret Garden”, and is one that gave us all the Spring feels. 

The beauty can be found within the small details, and Courtney, and her incredible team of vendors, made all the small details matter. Maybe it was the branded dinner rolls, or the tiny suit made for their precious pup, regardless of where we looked, we were continuously being blown away with all the elements. The evening was filled with dancing and love as their guests surrounded them on the dance floor. Dan and Courtney definitely had the All-Star vendor team. Many thanks to everyone that had a hand in their special day!
