HOLY FIRST DANCE GOALS! After looking back through photos of Brianne and Michael’s first dance, we got goosebumps all over again. You could tell they really wanted to make a statement, and boy was a state made! 

From their elegant ceremony to their interactive reception, Brianne and Michael were showered with love and cheer throughout their entire day. Due to COVID-19 the couple had several guests that were not able to attend but that did not stop them from attending in spirit. Brianne and Michael had several guests record sweet videos that we were able to compile together and play for the couple to watch during dinner. 

After dinner, the energy level went from 0 to 100 with a full dance party. They dropped it low, some even lower than others, and the dance moves were some we will definitely remember for quite some time.

Anyone else binge watching the Hallmark channel for all the Christmas in July movies? No? Just us? Either way, after looking back through Kelsey and Garrett’s photos of their mid-December wedding 3 years ago we are BEGGING for them, and Hallmark, to give us more! 

Garrett and Kelsey chose to have their wedding reception at one of the most iconic wedding venues, and hotels, in Downtown Greenville, South Carolina. The Westin Poinsett has so much to offer couples as they embark on this fun journey in life. From the beautiful gold elevator and staircases that are just begging to be used in a photo opt to their breathtaking ‘Gold Room’ Grand Ballroom that is every classic wedding’s dream that will give you all the heart eyes emoji feels when entering! 

Everything about their wedding reception was truly magical. We know, we know; everything in the month of December is ‘magical’ but their wedding day takes the cake for us. We accented the room with our stunning uplighting, and topped it off with a custom monogram lighting shined on the dance floor.

Laura and Alex's Wedding | DJ & Uplighting | Westin Poinsett

If I could only use one word to describe Laura and Alex, it would simply be "FUN". From our first consult, through planning, and the wedding reception itself, I had so much fun getting to know them both and creating their very special wedding day. As you can see in their pictures below, they love to smile and share cute and goofy moments. That said, the love between these two was to obvious and easy to see. They're perfect for each other.

Laura and Alex's reception was at one of the best venues in all of Greenville, South Carolina, The Westin Poinsett. We find ourselves there quite often and just love it for so many reasons. For their reception, not only did we help throw an epic dance party, we also provided uplighting which transformed the Gold Ballroom and added an additional "wow" element. Did I mention that the dance floor was packed? Well, it was packed, for hours. It was a special celebration in so many ways and I am so happy we got to be a part of it. Cheers to the Arabea's!!!

Their first look was quite special. Their reactions were priceless!

Laura and Alex chose a super unique first dance song that we just loved, called "Dancing Shoes" by Green River Ordinance. It was the perfect song for the two of them.

Laura and her dad's special dance was to "I Believe in You" by Steven Curtis Chapman. The look on their faces says it all.

Alex and his mom had us create a special dance edit for them which blended Lady Antebellum's "Never Alone" and Paul Simon's "Love Me Like A Rock". It truly reflected Alex's fun, spontaneous personality.

Chelsea and Trey's Wedding | Westin Poinsett | Greenville DJ

This is a 2016 throwback wedding that we were extremely fortunate to be a part of. Trey and Chelsea had seen us at a couple of their friends' weddings and loved us so much that when it came time for their wedding, Chelsea sought us out. During our planning process prior to their wedding, she actually became the Wedding Sales Manager at one of our favorite venues, The Westin Poinsett, which coincidentally, was where their wedding was to be held. Here we are a year after their wedding and I love getting to see Chelsea every time we head to downtown Greenville for a wedding at the Westin Poinsett.
