Heyward Manor and The Bleckley Station Wedding DJ | Anderson, SC | Nicole and Jerome

Two words: HOLY MOLY! If there were ever a dream wedding for a vendor to end the year with, it would be Nicole and Jerome’s fairytale Christmas wedding in Anderson, South Carolina. This couple pulled out all the stops and it was the most epic wedding of our career! 

Nicole and Jerome met well working at Wild Wings and their rock loving souls were destine to be together forever. When meeting with Nicole and Jerome they both said “we do not want the typical wedding reception. We want our reception to be like a rock concert!” Um, come again? Was this real life? Where all our reception DJ dreams coming true or were we just daydreaming? Little did we know, what we had in mind for a ‘rock concert reception’, Nicole and Jerome wanted bigger and better, and we loved every single minute of it! 

They chose to tie the knot at one of our favorite hidden gems in Anderson, Heyward Manor. This venue is the ultimate barn/rustic dreams! After tying the knot, they moved over to The Bleckley Station where it was decked out to the dang nines!! 

From the light up wristbands for guests to the choreographed first dance with their entire bridal party, Nicole and Jerome wanted their reception to be one to remember, and boy would it be one we would never forget! Nicole and Jerome, THANK YOU for allowing Uptown Entertainment to be part of such a magically epic day. We truly could not have imagined it any other way. Greenbrier Farms Wedding DJ | Easley, SC | Claire & Hart

Claire and Hart picked one of the most romantic spots for their ceremony this past October. Looking down on all the Fall foliage and beautiful mountain tops, it truly could not have been more picturesque than that. The YMCA Camp Greenville Look Out, or better known as “Pretty Place Chapel”, was the perfect place for them to tie the knot.  

After the vows were said, it was time to party and what better place to have that party than the Greenbrier Farms located in Easley, South Carolina. We are not at this beautiful farm to table venue enough but when we are, we make the most of it. See our previous blog post on why we love Greenbrier Farms so much! 

Claire and Hart danced the night away with the family and friends and love every minute of it. We had the best time celebrating with them and watching their loved ones surround the newlyweds with love and happiness. Old Cigar Warehouse Wedding DJ | Greenville, SC | Sheridan & Sara

These two sports fans Sara and Sheridan both have hearts of gold and we were PUMPED when they asked to be part of their special day. We’ve had the pleasure of working with Sheridan over the years with My Wedding Group, but when we met Sara, we instantly know these two were perfect for each other. 

Sara and Sheridan chose Old Cigar Warehouse for their wedding ceremony and reception. Check out some of our previous blog posts to learn more about the historical Old Cigar Warehouse event venue. 

The venue was detailed with vibrant colors that accented the exposed brick perfectly. As the Best Brothers made their way down the alter followed by the rest of the bridal party, we kept eyeing the Flower Guy and we knew we would be in for a real treat. He took his role seriously and we must say, we have never seen anything like it. It was truly a sight that had everyone giggling, and just what Sara and Sheridan needed to shake the nerves. 

Once the party began, it truly never stopped. Sara and Sheridan were surrounded by family, friends, former teammates and a whole lot of love. Sara and Sheridan both stayed on the dance floor, and gave us the best moves all night. Sara really got the crowd really going when she did the worm! 

Of all the parties in 2020, theirs was definitely one of our favorites! Sara and Sheridan, watching you two become The Dooley’s was truly magical. Thank you for allowing Uptown Entertainment to be part of such a special day. We wish you many years of love and happiness. Oh, and just in case you were wondering, we are totally down to do a 1-year anniversary party. Cheers!

Greenbrier Farms Wedding DJ | Easley, SC | Tyler & Blake

They met at wedding where Blake was a groomsman with all the right dance moves. 6 years later they were planning their very own dream wedding at one of best kept venue secrets of the Upstate. Tyler and Blake chose Greenbrier Farms in Easley, South Carolina, and it was the perfect place to say “I Do”. Fall was in definitely in the air that surrounded this beautiful early November day. Tyler had fairy lights draped throughout the entire venue that gave you the feeling of rustic wonderland. Greenbrier Farms has a charming event barn that can be transformed and fit every style from country elegance to classic chic. 

Tyler and Blake wanted to make a grand entrance and chose to use our Spark Fountains to add a little flare to their first dance. Blake spun Tyler around the dance floor and her dance flowed so effortlessly as everyone watched in amazement. After their amazing Farm to Table dinner, everyone joined them on the dance floor. Tyler chose our Farmhouse Luxe DJ Booth that complimented the barn’s rustic elegance vibe. The uplighting lit the entire barn and created the perfect party feel for the dance floor. The guests were blown away (literally!) when Blake fired off the Cryo Cannon. From conga lines to packing the dance floor, once the party started it never stopped. Blake and Tyler completed the evening with a beautiful snowy exit.

The Venue at Falls Park Wedding DJ | Greenville, SC | Meagan & Daniel

Four days before Meagan and Daniel were supposed to get married COVID created an extra hurdle they did not see coming. In those 4 days, they had their dream wedding decrease to a fifteen person maximum ceremony, and they would have to reschedule their reception for a later date. Although it was not what they had hoped for, they did not allow it to stand in their way. 

Fast forward several weeks, they were finally able to have their dream reception with their family and friends. Everything about this day was perfect. Meagan and Daniel did not have the wedding day jitters, and were both ready to just celebrate. During the final planning meeting, Meagan told us that her and Daniel both were extremely excited to finally being able to have their party, and they wanted it to last all night! Meagan was most eager about the cryo cannon, and could not wait to use that.

Bleckley Station Wedding DJ | Anderson, SC | Paiten & Richmond

In a high school engineering class sat two young kids who barely knew each other’s last name. As years passed and friendships grew, so did their fondness for one another, and on January 6th, 2012 Richmond asked Paiten to be his girlfriend. Fast forward nine years later, he could not believe that after knowing someone as generous as Paiten for 10+ years they would become husband and wife in just a few short hours. As Paiten made her way gracefully down the aisle he could barely take his eyes off her. Not only was it hot outside on that late June afternoon, but sparks were flying inside from the moment Paiten and Richmond said “I Do”. 

 Richmond and his groomsmen looked dapper in their black tuxedos, while Paiten and her bridesmaids looked flawless in their beautiful long black dresses. The reception tables were filled with stunning gold frame centerpieces that were handmade by Richmond which elevated the elegant florals. Paiten and Richmond had always shared a love for an old school polaroid and wanted to spread that love with their guests as they invited them to add polaroids to their guestbook.

 While meeting with Paiten and Richmond during planning, they stressed to us the importance of having a huge party for their reception, and that’s definitely what they got. Their guests showed up and showed out! From shagging to dropping it low, they never missed a beat. In the midst of the fun, we brought out the Cyro Cannon and Paiten blew her guests away (literally). 

 Looking back on this divine June day we are reminded of simpler times and that love is truly all you need. Paiten and Richmond, it was an honor to be part of your beautiful day. From the ceremony to the sparkler exit, it was nothing less than magnificent. We wish you many years of love and happiness!
