Julia and Josh met almost 7 years ago while tailgating at a Florida Georgia Line concert with mutual friends; and when we met them, we knew instantly they would be a fun couple to party with. Even through the COVID chaos, they had so much energy and excitement about starting their lives together as husband and wife. Although Julia and Josh had to reschedule their wedding from earlier that year, their new date, December 31st, 2021, was ultimately the best decision they could have ever made.

Josh and Julia chose one of Greenville County’s most unique wedding venues, Edinburgh West. This stunning all glass English conservatory sits on a 16-acre estate in Taylors, South Carolina just minutes away from Downtown Greenville. Edinburgh West is an all-inclusive venue that offers everything from catering to florals for their couples. 

Their guests we full of energy just like Julia and Josh from the moment they entered the reception. They filled their evening dancing, the mirror photo booth and celebrating not only the happy couple but the new year as well. 

Josh and Julia, thank you for allowing us to be part of such a special celebrate and happy you and your guests ring in the new year. The Cliffs at Glassy Wedding DJ | Landrum, SC | Amy & Tom

This past weekend was a H-O-T one! All we could think about was the crisp October breeze that filled the air at The Cliffs at Glassy Clubhouse two years ago. Their ballroom is filled with wall-to-wall windows that allows stunning nature light, the covered back patio offers a breathtaking view all throughout year and a large beautiful stone fireplace that is perfect for winter events. The Cliffs at Glassy Clubhouse is hands down a venue with endless possibilities. 

Amy and Tom chose to accent the clubhouse with beautiful uplighting which really made the room pop after the sun went down. Their reception was so clean with gorgeous fresh florals and crisp ivory linens. 

While meeting with Amy and Tom, we knew the love they shared for one another was like no other. It was so pure and kind. All throughout the evening Tom and Amy laughed, danced and surrounded themselves with love and happiness from their guests. Tom and Amy, it was a pleasure working with you and celebrating with your friends and loved ones. Cheers to many years of love and happiness.

Katherine and Britt's Magical Westin Poinsett Wedding

Where do I begin with Katherine and Britt's wedding reception and celebration. At Uptown Entertainment, we have been focusing on elevating the aesthetics and appearances of wedding entertainment. Their wedding featured our new Luxe Package, with custom built DJ booth, uplighting, and premium lighting and sound. Not only did we have an amazing DJ setup, but we also provided our ALL NEW Motion Monogram on their dance floor (see pictures below). On top of all of that, we created a custom ceiling lighting design an incorporated a floral motif to carry the over-the-top floral theme all the way through their wedding celebration. All of this came together so well and it looked AMAZING! Now that I've geeked out about what we provided, let me say that we had a stellar reception, full of love, special moments, and LOTS of dancing. Leah & Alex | The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyard Lakehouse

Every couple has a story. How they met, where their first date was, stories of their adventures together and eventually how they knew the other person was the one. At Uptown, we believe in getting to know these stories. We could simply ask for a list of songs the couple would like played, but instead we choose to learn about our couples and then customized a soundtrack for their day. Leah & Alex's story goes way back as they are high school sweethearts. After almost 10 years together, they celebrated their wedding day at Glassy Mountain Chapel & At the Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards Lakehouse. When we meet with Leah & Alex they said they wanted their day to be fun & energetic. One way they decided to accomplish that was by taking the traditional dances and jazzing them up a bit. We worked with them to create the perfect mixes for each special dance. No matter the weather, somehow The Glassy Mountain Chapel is always the perfect backdrop for a wedding day.

Instead of a first look, Leah & Alex chose to read letters from each other while standing on opposite sides of a door. This allowed Todd from Magnolia Studios to capture an intimate moment with the couple without them seeing one another before the ceremony.

Instead of individual place cards, Leah & Alex wrote their guests' seating locations on beautiful old windows.

Prior to being introduced into the reception, our couple drove to the Lakehouse in style in a beautiful Aston Martin V8 Vantage Convertible.

We introduced the new Mr. & Mrs into the recpetion playing "Can't Stop The Feeling" by Justin Timberlake 

Leah & Alex chose to start their first dance with the beautiful song "Thinking Out Load" by Ed Sheeran but then....

...busted into "Shake Your Groove Thing" by Peaches & Herb. So fun!

Alex & his mom chose the upbeat song "Take Me To Your Heaven" by Charlotte Nilsson for their dance together.

Of course, Dad could not let the Groom have all the fun so he & Leah did a coregraphed dance to a mix of songs that included: "Daughters"-John Mayer, "Grease Lightning", "Apache"- Sugarhill, "Jump On it" and lastly "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees.

Guests of all edges filled the dance floor all night!
